I just wanted to give you two thumbs up to a happy and prosperous year! I don’t know what it is. Maybe the fresh Southern California air (yeah right), maybe my ultimate fitness class, Trader Joe’s, or something else, but I’m fired up this year and you should be too!
Things are really coming together. Projects are gaining good traction, people are positive and making things happen, and I’m loving every second of it! Good stuff!
If you’re not fired up, here is a kick in the ass. Get going.
This year you’ll set new milestones, climb over obstacles that you thought were impossible, take care of your customers, invest in your team and get them more involved, and finally, you will wake up everyday ready to hustle.
If you don’t do these things, you failed yourself.
It’s time to persevere, and there is no better time than now. Why? Well, let me quick tell you why. The new year is just around the corner and it’s time that we rid all challenges, difficulties, and any past failures and move forward with a positive attitude and outlook on the future.
Today, around the world there are thousands if not millions of innovative leaders that are struggling to do good, meaningful work in a time of overbearing bureaucracy, horrible leadership, and non stop failing solutions.
If you look around, you will see that everyone is working harder, and in most cases, in greater isolation than ever before.
Between the fast pace of work and life, family, balance, and the fear and anxiety, it is becoming almost impossible to have the energy and enthusiasm to keep going. However, this also means that everyone must stand up, brush off the years of good efforts that have been taken away by events beyond our control, and lets continue our efforts to do and achieve great things despite all difficulties, and failures.
What do you say? Let’s go!
Leadership should not be a place that we all strive to be, rather a place that we already are. The important thing is to focus on being a good leader no matter where you are. Good leaders always rise to the top, like oil and water. As time goes on, leaders become good leaders through the daily process of growth, love, and sacrifice.
Why is it that we think of leadership as this stellar place that we all strive to reach? It’s almost as if it were Heaven, and some of us get there and some of us don’t. What gets you to heaven is not power, pride, position, or possessions, it’s sacrificial love between you and Jesus. And it is this same love that makes you a leader.
