If you’re not already using Evernote it might be something you should try. Really, you should try it. Don’t do this because I told you to, but because it will change your life.
I signed up for it about 2-3 months ago and and it changed my life! Getting things done, staying organized, and making things happen started to become a breeze after using Evernote.
Do you totally dislike meetings and often wonder why in the world meetings take so long? How many people would you say feel the exact same way as you? Do you think as high as 90%? I would bet the percentage is at least that, maybe higher.
Oh the days of sitting in long corporate meetings. I dread those days. What I dread even more is leading those meetings? What a drainer that was! I would look up from your notes and all I would see was either people passed out or people intensely watching the clock.
People love meetings! Not me. I hate meetings these days unless they are meetings that have gone right. Yup, you got it, meetings gone right.
I think some people have become addicted to having meetings, and if they don’t get their meeting fix, they start going insane.
Is the timing right? I don’t know, you will have to ask yourself this question.

Timing is one of the most important questions you can ask yourself before jumping into anything in your life. Whether it be a marriage, kids, new career, starting a business, or making a move, it really doesn’t matter, just make sure you ask the question. You will be amazed at what you can learn when you actually take the time to ask the question.
Think about the last meeting you were sitting in. What happened? Did you doze off into dreamy land? Did you pretty much fall asleep? Let’s be honest, most meetings suck. You have probably read the book, “Death by meeting“. I can’t tell you how many times I have felt this way. Meetings can be killer.
However, can we all agree that there are meetings that are important and valuable, and it is us who make them valuable?
I remember being in class when my professor wrote on the whiteboard K-I-S-S. Next to it, he wrote, keep it simple stupid. Keep it simple stupid? What does that mean? I thought, “Who was he calling stupid?”
I had no idea where he was going with this. He started to explain by saying, “life is already messy, why make it more messy”? He said, ” You want the truth? We like to make things much harder than they really need to be. All the ridiculous messes and crap in our lives, guess who created it, we did”.
