Have you already passed off your social media to the marketing department? If so, you have screwed yourself and the company and you better start rethinking things fast.
I don’t know what pisses me off more, companies not using social media at all, or companies who don’t deeply integrate social media into every area of the business.

There seems to be a growing thought-pattern afoot that encourages individuals to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses, and then focus on strengthening those areas where they are weak so as to become “well-rounded”individuals. It’s not only a theory that encourages mediocrity but is also one that deters success.
Some context: Years ago Hospital Surgeons did not specialize in specific areas of medicine as they do today. Their studies were in general medicine and their education geared them toward becoming “well-rounded” surgeons so as to have some degree of knowledge for any affliction that they may be presented with.
If you are going to go, why not go all out? This makes me think of people who say, “I will just run the 5k and that will be good for me. When really in their head they would love to work up to the 25k or the marathon. This is awesome!
Why not go after the marathon? Not that this is going to happen over night either, but you can do it! It can happen! It will take some pretty serious hard work and dedication, but why not? Why not go all out?
