I remember growing up always thinking to myself and asking the question, “What does it take?” I am still asking this question.
I would ask and still ask:
What does it take to be a great athlete?
What does it take to be a professional athlete?
What does it take to start a business?
What does it take to be a great husband?
What does it take to be a great father?
What does it take to be a great leader. All questions with no answers.
After not finding any answers that I was happy with, I decided that I would JUMP. I jumped out into the thing we call life ready to find the answers to all these questions. After many successes, many failures, and many reality checks, I am starting to find answers to all my questions.
What it takes? You probably ask these very same questions each day. Whether your young, old, or in a midlife crisis, we all ask these questions. Do you have all the answers? Nobody does other than God, but you or I are God.
How do we find answers to all these questions? Well, the way I seem to find answers to these questions is to jump. Jump? Yeah, you jump out ready and willing to succeed, fail, and face the reality of what it takes to accomplish anything in our lives.
Are you ready for what it takes? Are you willing to do what it takes?
